“Hated” questions the dynamics of social and antisocial in public space. The life size figure, a self-portrait, is displayed in the position of numb, asleep drunkenness, and placed in the environment of a Berlin bar. While for some merely an inanimate object, nonetheless antropomorfic, recognizable in its presence, emanating nothing and therefore ignored; for others, the very same obviousness of its artificiality is a channel for projection, and thus communication.
